Starting today, complete special daily quests to earn Chaos Motes, which can be exchanged for some great mounts and rewards!

You can find the quest givers in Meridian (/setwaypoint 6122 5231), Sanctum (/setwaypoint 7380 3078), and Tempest Bay (/setwaypoint 12943 11579)!

If you’re heading to the race, here are a few tips and tricks:

✨ Stay within the marked path.
🐦 Hit all the white checkpoints throughout the race.
🚀 Use all the green boosts to increase your speed and leave your opponents behind!
🐌 If you prefer speed over slow, avoid all orange traps!

Remember, a clear mind makes the goal clear. Stay focused, and you too can win the race, Ascended!

Hello, Ascended! 
We would like to inform you that the PTS (Public Test Server) environment will open from August 8, 2024, until August 12, 2024! 
 
What should I test on the PTS environment? 
 
On the PTS environment, we simply require players to play as normal, while at the same time reporting which regular features of RIFT are experiencing issues, as well as any outstanding bugs that you may experience during gameplay. 
 
Where can I report any bug I experience on PTS? 
 
There are currently three locations where you can report a bug: 
 
1. The Official RIFT Discord’s feedback forum, an official post made by a member of staff will be made here, titled “August 2024 PTS reports”. 
2. PTS Bug Report form, this form will remain open until August 13, 2024, 12 PM UTC. 
3. Directly contact a Community Manager on Discord. 
 
Whichever location is your preference to report a bug, we kindly request you to provide as many details as possible! 
 
How can I access the PTS environment? 
 
To access the PTS environment, please do the following: 
 
1. Open Glyph and select RIFT. 
2. Click on the cogwheel icon on the right side of the Play button. 
3. Select NewPTS – you may have to redownload RIFT. 
4. Click Play and enter PTS.

It’s World Nature Conservation Day, where we are raising awareness about the importance of preserving and protecting our natural resources. 
 
Today we are celebrating the occasion with a fun screenshot contest for all! 
Take a screenshot of your favorite natural landscape in Telara and earn amazing rewards! 
 
Did you know? 
 
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, mastering these three simple habits in your daily life contributes to the preservation of our natural world. 
 
How do I participate? 
 
1. Log into RIFT and find your favorite location on Telara. 
2. Take a screenshot and post it on the #conservation-day-2024 channel on the official RIFT discord, alternatively, use the #worldnatureconservationday hashtag on Facebook or X (formerly known as Twitter). 
3. (Optional) Include why you would like to preserve the environment you captured in your screenshot. 
4. Include your Character Name, Shard, and Region. 
5. You are good to go! 
 
Are there any rules? 
 
1. Your entry submission must adhere to the themes of the contest 
2. Content that is inappropriate or offensive is forbidden. 
3. Not including Character Name, Shard and region with your entry will make you unable to receive a reward.
 
What are the rewards? 
 
The top three participants will receive 3000 Credits each! 
 
Entry submission period concludes on August 12, 2024, 21:59 PM UTC and winners will be announced on August 16, 2024.

Hello, dear Ascended. 
 
We have some important news to share regarding the European Shards. 
On September 30, 2024, the European shard Bloodiron will be closed as part of our efforts to consolidate shards within the EU region. 
 
Why are we closing the Shard? 
 
Our goal is to make it easier for players in the European region to find fellow Ascended and embark on new adventures together. 
 
What steps do I have to take if I am on Bloodiron? 
 
1. If you are playing on the shard Bloodiron, please consider transferring to one of the following shards: Brisesol, Brutwacht or Typhiria. 
2. Read the guide on how to transfer your character(s) to another shard by clicking here. 
3. Keep an eye on the official RIFT website for more details. 
 
What happens if I do not transfer in time? 
 
Characters that are not transferred to Brisesol, Brutwacht or Typhiria before September 30, 2024, will become unavailable, and regular play will not be possible. We advise you to transfer to your preferred shard as soon as possible. 
 
Please note that during this period, the character limit on the EU region will be lifted to facilitate transfers. We recommend having no more than 14 characters on a single shard. If you exceed this limit, characters beyond the 14th will become inaccessible, and the only way to recover them is to delete some of your accessible characters.
