Advent Calendar 2020

Dear Ascended,

Do you remember when you waited impatiently every day to be able to open the little window of your advent calendar? In order to give you this feeling, we prepared a very special Advent Calendar for Rift!

Santa Claus is bringing a lot of gifts this year and it’s up to you to discover a different loot item (gray) every day! Will you be able to drop the right loot item every day?

You will have to find 24 different loot items, which can be found in the Silverwood for the Guardians and in Freemarch for the Defiants. You then have to drop the correct item! Thanks to a puzzle, which you can find every day from 00:01 a.m. CET in the forum, you will be able to locate/name it.

You are probably wondering how to participate? It’s very easy!

  • Every day, starting midnight, go to the forum and see what is hidden behind the little window of the Advent Calendar. You will discover a puzzle that you have to solve! >>> The Advent Calendar 2020 <<<
  • Every day you can use the puzzle to find out the name of an item and a monster that could possibly drop the item. You will be able to find these in Silverwood for the Guardians and in Freemarch for the Defiants. You can find all the answers to the puzzles in the game.
  • Solve all puzzles and go to the correct monster to drop the item.
  • You then have to take a screenshot of your character (with your character’s name in the screenshot), the opened inventory and the mouse hovered over the correct item that you have just dropped.
    Remember to post your screenshot before 11:59 p.m. CET of the same day to confirm your participation!

Now you are probably wondering what you can win!
Santa Claus has surprises in store for all valid entries every day!
Unfortunately, we don’t know yet what these surprises are, Santa Claus is keeping it a secret!

But that’s not all!

He has prepared gift packs for the most dedicated participants!

Players who successfully participate in the Advent Calendar for at least 20 days will receive the Christmas Surprise Pack, which contains:

5x Dark Levitation Supply Crate

And players who are even more dedicated and successfully participate in the Advent Calendar on all 24 days will receive the Big Christmas Surprise Pack, in addition to the Christmas Surprise Pack, which contains:

30 Day Patron Pass

Participation is successfully completed if you have submitted your entry in response to the discussion threads before 23:59 CET on the same day, including your character name and your server as well as your screenshot with your character, it’s name, and the open Inventory with the mouse hovered over the correct item.

Another important note for the event!
Participation in the event is limited to only one account and one character per player. If you start the event with a character, you must continue with the same character. A change of the character during the event leads to the loss of the days of the previous event with the first character, as these are not transferred!
The rewards will be sent as soon as possible either in the forum via a private message or sent to you directly in the game. Sending to another character is not possible.
