RIFT PRIME: Earn Your Eagle!

The highly sought-after Golden Lifter features a glorious eagle motif. This bird is a scalable-speed mount, that trails a patriotic stream of red, white and blue. Even better, you can earn it for FREE through the Freedom Sparkle Festival challenge!

Talk to “Freedom Sparkle Sam” in Meridian or Sanctum to start your quest. You’ll collect sparkles by completing Expert Dungeons, winning Warfronts and completing Zone Events across Telara. The eagle is a creature of air, so you will earn even more freedom sparkles when you defeat Crucia’s forces from the Plane of Air! Even though Independence week may end in the US, you can still keep collecting freedom sparkles and turn in your quest to earn your mount. After July 5, you will no longer be able to pick up the quest, though.

*Note: we originally also included Mercutial’s Headdress and Lord Fionn’s Horned Crest as new items. However, these items were nabbed by some boglings and will be featured in a future RIFT update.

Telara Fashion Week 2017 has concluded but a unique array of fashions both new and old are ready to join your wardrobe.

We just wrapped up Telara Fashion Week 2017 a few weeks ago and its epic conclusion saw Narsiro@Zaviel bring home the esteemed first place. His costume set of dark blacks and vibrant reds were a huge hit with the RIFT community. In honor of his creation, you can purchase your own version of Primarch Narsiro’s Regalia for 1,400 credits beginning Wednesday, October 4 after the game update.

In addition to this new wardrobe being available on the RIFT store, all previous winners’ wardrobes will be available on the RIFT store from the weekly game update on October 4 until the following week’s update on October 11, 2017. Plus, all the world event wardrobes will be available during this limited time, too. And, all non-premium wardrobe bundles have been permanently reduced from 850 credits to only 650 credits.

If you’ve been waiting to pick up some of these unique looks, now’s the time! ALL RIFT wardrobes will be on sale from October 4 – October 11, 2017. The price? 25% off everything! That’s not all! With nearly 200 total entries, there were a lot for the devs to choose from to pick the winners of the Telara Fashion Week 2017 Contest!

From Thursday, August 31, 2017 until Thursday, September 14, 2017, players were asked to submit their most stylish wardrobe ensembles for a chance to win fabulous prizes. The top 10 were chosen by the dev team and the final top three winners were chosen live on our weekly RIFTstream. Here’s who won!

First Place Winner: Narsiro@Zaviel

Narsiro’s dark ruby and goldenrod take on a dark angel was a surefire fan favorite. He used the General Silgen’s Crown for his head piece, Vigil’s Radiance for his back piece, and the rest was put together from the Ceremonial Hero’s Wardrobe. His costume set will be bundled together and sold in the RIFT store at a later date.

Second Place Winner: Naryss@Greybriar

Naryss’ outfit combined lovely blacks, purples, and teals. With a low-cut bodice and a tantalizingly high headpiece, the look was dramatic but well-rounded. She was chosen as a close second to Narsiro.

Third Place Winner: Fibes@Faeblight

Dubbed as “Jacqueline the Ripper” from her creator, Fibes@Faeblight, this winning ensemble featured a more Victorian vibe including a woolen blazer, fashionable leggings, a dark top hat, and most notably, a plague doctor’s mask. Something else we loved about this piece was that it was androgynous to look sharp on both males and females.
