RELEASE THE KRAKEN

Entering the LONG SHADE adventure world now gives a new questline, featuring Saltwater Sam & his crew! As players move through this questline, they will get crafting access to “Depth Stepper: Deep Kraken,” allowing them to seek out and defeat the Deep Kraken itself, found within the watery Depths delve biome.

Check your Quests UI (default key: i) in the “Quests” category for the “Find SALTWATER SAM in the LONG SHADE” questline!

Regardless of quest completion, Trovians who have unlocked the Deep Kraken’s memento can craft the Deep Kraken Depth Stepper at the Delve Workbench, and Gateway Gladys will happily sell Deep Kraken Depth Steppers for 200 credits.

The HERALD OF THE DEEP KRAKEN is a new NPC that will spawn in “The Depths” delve biomes after any boss when a Runic Depths Vault spawns. Utilizing Kraken Shell Fragments (as well as other materials), this NPC will allow players to craft 8 new collectables (5 pets, 1 Mount, 1 Mag Rider, and 1 set of Wings), and 1 new BUFF, available for Trovians with 200+ skill in the Mysticism profession! While the Deep Kraken is a great source for Kraken Shell Fragments, they can also be found within the Runic Depths Vault, and from enemies encountered during the Kraken questline!

NEW WATER FISH

Dust off your tackle-box, 16 new Depths-themed fish can now be found by fishing in FISH POOLS in WATER in the Long Shade difficulty (6 common, 6 uncommon, and 4 rare).

The rarest of these fish can only be obtained using the “Pole of the Deep.” Once all 6 ‘uncommon’ Depths fish have been collected, you can solicit help crafting this pole from Murkwater Mark, on Sam’s ship found randomly throughout the Long Shade.

NEW 5-STAR DEPTHS DUNGEON

A second Depths themed 5-Star dungeon can now be found & completed in Long Shade worlds!
