Now that we’re a few weeks in to the Trove console beta we wanted to update you all on our progress and plans.
First of all we wanted to say how much we appreciate all the feedback you guys have given us over the last few weeks. While we caught many bugs before we opened up the beta, there’s nothing like opening the flood gates to really find everything.
So far we’ve released several hotfixes to reduce crashes and disconnects and we have more on the horizon.
Let’s talk about the future!
- Our highest priority is working on a beta patch to fix remaining critical issues like crashes and disconnects.
- Once that is in place we’ll prep our launch patch, which includes additional fixes, improvements to core User Interface systems like the inventory and loot collector. We can’t wait for you to get your hands on these updated systems!
- Additional changes include: control improvements, performance improvements and a whole lot more.
- Not too long after launch there will be an update that brings the console version in sync with our PC players. That patch includes an all new class (Dino Tamer), tons of game improvements, massive amounts of content, and gives us the ability to run events and sales on console as we do on PC.
After that, well, we have some big plans in the works coming to Trove in 2017 and we’re excited to start talking about that as well.
Thanks again for being a part of this beta and we look forward to getting into more details about these updates (and more!) very soon. In fact, here is our second update now!
