RIFTstream July 28 Recap – Yaviey’s Let’s Play #1

On Friday, July 28, 2017, new RIFT Community Manager Jennifer “Yaviey” Bridges tried her hand at creating a brand new character in RIFT!

On Friday’s livestream, Yaviey was joined by Chris “Keyens” Meyer (Systems Designer, RIFT) as she made a new character in RIFT. She created a Guardian high elf mage and played through the new player experience and into the first open world zone. There she met with other players who came out to say “hi” and show off their cool fashions, pets, and abilities. Later, after the duo accidentally said “Captain Cursor” three times, Nicholas “Captain Cursor” McDowell appeared to clear up some of the beginning lore.

This week the new RIFT Community Manager Yaviey jumps into RIFT as a total noob. Join us live in-game on the NA servers.

Brasse is out this week and Yaviey is taking over! She is your new Community Manager for RIFT, Jennifer “Yaviey” Bridges. Chris “Keyens” Meyers (Systems Designer) will be on stream as well, probably just to troll her.

This is Yaviey’s very first “Let’s Play.” She will try her hand at a Guardian High Elf Mage, explore the starting zone, and try to get as many levels as possible while questing and killing bad guys. What souls should she pick? What should her rotation be? Got some other tips for new players? Let us know live on the stream or on the forums. We’ll feature the best advice in a blog post next week.
