Rift celebrates its 7th anniversary in March, together with the Carnival of the Ascended. Let’s take a stroll down memory lane this Friday!

That’s right, RIFT is about to mark another birthday! We’re getting the gang together to talk about some RIFT history, and take a sneak peek at a few new goodies coming with Carnival of the Ascended in March!

Julia “Darkmoon” Adams-Esgrow returns to join Simon “DeadSimon” Ffinch will join Brasse for a look back at the road leading to seven years in RIFT. Darkmoon is bringing some of the notes compiled from evidence found in sedimentary layers of design docs. We will attempt to make sense of them years later and wonder where all the time has gone….

Gyel Fortress is a dungeon originally released with Nightmare Tide. RIFT Devs are working on the Intrepid version for release in February. Let’s talk about what it takes to make a dungeon Intrepid!

What IS an Intrepid dungeon? Why are we going over old content? Why did we choose Gyel Fortress over old release content? How do you go about adjusting a dungeon like this for a new challenge level? The questions are many, and while we’ve answered them in the forums, we thought you might like to hear about it directly from the content Devs involved in the process.

Brasse welcomes Julia “Darkmoon” Adams-Esgrow and Marko “Epsiry” Sohrakoff to the stream to delve into the Intrepid Dungeon system and answer questions about Gyel Fortress in all its incarnations.
